Hidden gems

This latest painting is inspired by Seaham on the North East coast. A quiet spot, like much of the North East and Northumberland, it's a great place to blow away the cobwebs and to some, a place to collect the small pieces of 'sea glass' that has been rolling around in the sea since the 1800's, when discarded by a bottle making company, then eventually washed up providing smooth pebbles of glass for artisans and jewellery makers.
The painting is 90cm x 90cm x 3.6cm with dramatic skies and lilac overtones. It will be available on my website within the next week.
